QUALITATIVE AND QUANTIATIVE COMPOSITION OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES
Permethrin (as permethrin cis: trans 25:75) 10mg/g
Eliminating invasions of ectoparasites in dogs, cats and pigeons (fleas, ticks, mallophagans and argas).
Do not use in puppies and kittens aged below 12 week, in pigeons aged below 1 month, in pigeons and in feeding females.
In cats, symptoms of poisoning after overdose manifest themselves in neurological disorders originating from the central and peripheral nervous system.
Symptoms that occur very often (> 1/10): drooling, hyperactivity (which may shift to aggression), muscle twitching, tremors, motor ataxia, skin hyperesthesia, pupil dilation, hyperthermia.
Symptoms that occur often (< 10/100): tachycardia, lethargy, disorientation, vomiting.
Symptoms that occur very rarely (> 1/10000): hypothermia, arrhythmia, mucous membrane cyanosis, diarrhoea, respiratory arrest, cardiac standstill, urinary retention, temporary blindness.
Should any adverse effects or any reactions not mentioned in the leaflet occur (including reactions in humans due to contact with the preparation), please contact your veterinarian or inform the marketing authorisation holder or the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products.
DOSAGE AND ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION
Apply the powder to the surface, unfolding fur or feathers in such a way as to administer the medicinal product to the skin. Repeat the treatment after 2-3 weeks. Each time after the application, the sleeping area for the animal should be replaced and a small amount of the medicinal product ought to be applied to the replacement. In the case of pigeons, pens are to be sprayed.
A container of 50 g of the medicinal product is enough for:
- 3 applications in dogs weighing 10-15 kg
- 5 to 7 applications in cats
- 10-15 applications for pups and kittens
- 25 to 50 applications in pigeons.

SPECIAL STORAGE AND TRANSPORT PRECAUTIONS
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Store in a dry place at a temperature below 25oC.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label has passed.
SPECIAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS, IF NECESSARY
Protect the eyes of the animals during the application!
The drug ought to be applied outside a residential facility. While applying the drug, observe generally accepted safety procedure for parasiticides.
After the application of the medicinal product, children must be protected against contact with the animal.
Not to be used in feeding females.
In the case of drug overdose, intensive symptomatic treatment ought to be initiated as there is no typical antidote.
Downers, anticonvulsants (diazepam, pentobarbital, propofol) and myorelaxants are recommended.
Fluids ought to be supplemented by administering crystalloids (sodium chloride solution or multielectrolyte fluid).
It is also recommended that the animal be bathed in tepid water with mild detergents in order to wash the remains of permethrin from its skin.
SPECIFIC PRECAUTIONS FOR THE NEUTRALISATION OF UNUSED VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCT OR WASTE DERIVED FROM IT
Medicinal product highly toxic to bees, fish and crustaceans.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewarer or household waste.
Ask your veterinary surgeon how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures should help to protect the environment.
